Panel 03

Action timeline

This is your editable cut. Every bar is a creative decision you can move, copy, color, and replay.

Inspect

Select & preview an action

Click a bar to play from that moment and open its controls. Hover or focus a bar to see its action label and reveal the insert affordance. Command/Ctrl-click to select multiple actions for a grouped copy.

Build

Add or insert an action

Use the plus at the end of the timeline to add an action, or hover an existing action and use the plus above it to insert after that point. The quick menu offers Camera, Angle, Light, Move character, Place character, Say line, and Sound. Choose Show all actions for the complete library.

Edit

Reorder the cut

Drag any action bar before or after another bar, or to the end. SceneFlow saves the new order as a scene version, making it safe to try a different rhythm.

Focus

Highlight filters

The highlight menu selects every action of a chosen type, from all Camera actions to all Wait actions. It is a fast way to audit one layer of the scene without losing the timeline context.

Reuse

Copy & paste actions

Keep the pointer over the timeline and press Command/Ctrl+C with an active or multi-selected action. Hover or focus the action you want to paste after, then press Command/Ctrl+V. Pasted actions are independent clones and the scene is saved as a new version.

Preview and unsaved changes

Previewing an action does not save its edits. Choose Save action or Update action to commit them. If you try to leave an edited action, choose Keep editing to return to the draft or Discard changes to leave it. Save or discard the draft before exporting a video.
