Layers
Use Layers in the right sidebar to control which scene elements appear in front of others.
Arrange front-to-back order
The list runs from front to back. Drag a layer to a new position, or open its actions menu and choose Bring to front or Send to back. Hover a row to highlight its element on the stage. This sets the base order for the scene.
Change layers at an angle cut
New Angle actions start in Front view with Use original order selected. Switching to Back selects Reverse layers, which swaps characters and freestanding props. Switching to Front selects the original order again. Drag rows or use the arrows for manual adjustments. The selected preset is highlighted. Save the action to apply the layout until the next Angle or Reset. Seeking to an earlier beat restores the correct order automatically.
Rename a layer
Double-click the layer name, enter a label, and press Enter or click away to save. Escape cancels. Use clear names to distinguish similar props and other scene elements.
Locked background
The background stays behind the other layers and cannot be reordered. Change its image or color with a Background action.
