Keyboard shortcuts
Once you are in the rhythm of directing, these shortcuts keep your hands on the cut.

Highlight filters
Option/Alt+1 clears highlights. Option/Alt+2 through 0 select Angle, Background, Reset, Text, Camera, Light, Prop, Face character, and Move character. Option/Alt+Q/W/E/R select Place character, Say line, Sound, and Title card. Option/Alt+T/Y/U/I select Set state, Set view, Set look, and Accessories. Option/Alt+O selects Wait; Option/Alt+P selects Run in parallel. The highlight menu displays each shortcut beside its action type.
